If you're transferring across Paris you have several options, including the Metro and waiting in line at taxi ranks (although it's easy to walk between Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est).

At snowcarbon, we have also recently arranged with a number of taxi companies in Paris to offer pre-bookable taxi transfers where a driver meets you on the platform, helps with your baggage and ensures you have a quick, comfortable journey. These can be booked online or by phone (we don't make a commission on this service).

snowcarbon is a website that encourages skiers to take the train to resorts in Europe, rather than fly.

We are visiting UK and Europe from the Canada. We have just chosen to go by train, these are tips of a life time and I cannot wait. Any tips on where to go, we have a euro pass which will allow us to travel anywhere within two weeks. We wanted to go to Holland too, but not sure if we will have time for all that fun.
